Enzo: A Winning Legacy – His Family

After reading many touching posts on social media, it’s clear that Enzo was Brent Stone’s and Philip Del Pozzo’s pride and joy, a reflection of their passion and dedication to the breed. Most importantly, Enzo was their friend and a part of their family, their ‘Brilliant Big Red horse.’
Having bred, owned and loved Enzo his entire life, Brent and Philip saw him become the legend he was and forever will be. From his first steps to his first National title to those quiet moments shared in the stall, Enzo has given them a lifetime’s worth of memories.

Ray Bradbury once wrote: “Everyone must leave something behind when he dies…It doesn’t matter what you do, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that’s like you after you take your hands away.”

Enzo leaves Brent, Philip and partner Tony Shooshani with a legacy of greatness, unsurpassed beauty and success. Their lives as well as the industry as a whole has been made better by knowing, loving and experiencing Enzo. An emotional Philip sums it up perfectly: “Enzo will be missed by so many people around this world. There will be no other like him. I so loved that big red horse. There are no words. I will find peace knowing his legacy will live on forever through his sons and daughters.”
